What I Wore – Ladies Day at Listowel Races

Hi Everyone!
Today I was in Kerry to judge ladies day at the Listowel Races. I was joined by the lovely Daith O’Se.
We had a great day with lots of laughs.
It was raining on my journey down from Dublin but thankfully it brightened up and held up for the afternoon.
I couldn’t believe the turn out, the style stakes were really high.
As usual I was very last minute getting my outfit! I’m always the same but I always trust it’ll work out.
I did have my skirt since last week. I saw it in River Island and practically jumped on it!! It’s so beautiful in person, it’s really full and feels so luxurious. I love the satin material. It’s a nude blush colour.
The shirt cost €80 in store but €72 online here, which I think is unbelievable! You’d expect to pay much more for this I think. It comes in a beautiful blue also.
I tried it on with a floral boxy jacket I have, this was lovely with it too but then yesterday I saw this top in the window of Coast and I knew it would be perfect for the occasion. I love that the skirt is really versatile and you could create a lot of different looks with it.
The top is high neck with three quarter length sleeves. I loved the lace detail on the shoulder and arms. It’s a heavy fabric that felt really comfortable. I got it quite small so that it would tuck well into the skirt. (Click here)
My bag (here) and pearl earrings (here) are Coast also, I do love a bit of bling 🙂
These are my Kurt Geiger shoes that I bought as an impulse purchase instead of Winter boots!! In fairness can you blame me?! They’re devine and after wearing them since 9am this morning I can confirm my feet don’t hurt a bit!! You can buy them here.
Last but not least head piece is thanks to Chic Boutique in Listowel.
I’d a great day at the races, everyone was so friendly and in such good form. I was too busy stalking well dressed ladies that I didn’t even put a bet on though!
We ended up with 3 really different and deserving finalists.
I’m now en route back to Dublin and looking forward to seeing my little Ollie. Well hopefully I’ll be seeing him while he’s asleep 😉
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Much love,
Px
