Another summer, another must-have sandal. Ladies, if you only buy one pair of shoes this season, make sure it’s the gladiator sandal. We know gladiators have been around for what seems like forever but this year the Grecian sandal has been given a much edgier twist.

From the simple and chic versions to the more extreme high-leg styles à la Kendall’s (see below), gladiators really are this summer’s ‘It Sandal’. The high-leg version seems to be a firm favourite amongst celebs and fashionistas at the moment. They look great with most outfits, whether it’s cut-off denim shorts and a tee or a floaty summer dress. It gives a cool boho vibe to any summer look.

The low-cut sandals are still one of our must-haves and have been for years now. These are even perfect for Ireland with jeans when it’s not exactly leg-baring weather. 😉
