It’s our favourite day of the week here on pippa.ie and today it’s all about seriously upping your shoe game for the sunny season with some effortlessly chic espadrilles.

You can never have too many espadrilles, we say! They literally go with just about anything: jeans & a tee – gorgeous; a floaty sundress – fab! The espadrille is a comfy and chic shoe definitely worth having in your collection. The higher wedge versions with the ankle ties in particular (as seen above) seem to be bigger than ever this year, mainly thanks to Spanish brand Castañer (we’ve linked some Castañer finds below btw!).

Espadrilles are not only ideal if you’re going away but also for here in Ireland too. It doesn’t exactly need to be a scorcher of a day to get away with rocking these beaut shoes, ya know!
