Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ & Ultra Hydrating Face Cream
Today on pippa.ie, I’m delighted to be collaborating with Trilogy. If you follow me on Snapchat (pippa.oconnor), you would have seen I’ve gone back to using an old favourite of mine – the Trilogy Rosehip Oil as well as starting the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ and the Ultra Hydrating Face Cream.
I was already very familiar with the Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil. I used to use this all the time a few years ago and forgot how lovely it is. This is a pure seed oil, which is naturally high in essential fatty acids. It can be applied to damaged skin anywhere on the body, as well as the face. I’ve found it brilliant at repairing the skin, improving the appearance of scars and stretch marks. You can buy it here.
Recently I’ve been introduced to the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+. Unlike the original, this is specifically designed just for the face. The oil, which consists of certified organic golden seed oil blend, improves skin tone and brightens complexion. It also reduces signs of ageing, smoothing lines and wrinkles, which is always amazing I’m sure you’ll agree! 😉 It contains antioxidants from tomato and acai so it protects the skin against environmental free radical damage (ideal if you’re outdoors a lot/living in a city with air pollutants). You can buy it here.
I like to apply 2 or 3 drops of this to my face and neck after cleansing (both morning and night) – I then gently massage it in. I generally use it before applying my moisturiser. My favourite thing about this oil is that it’s so easily absorbed. It doesn’t leave your face greasy afterwards so your foundation can still go on straight away. Happy days!
Next up, is a Trilogy product I hadn’t used before: the Ultra Hydrating Face Cream (buy here). Although I initially found this to have quite a thick consistency, it does soak in quite well. This would be amazing for anyone with dry dehydrated skin as it’s super rich and hydrating.
I love how natural the ingredients are. It includes coconut and evening primrose oil, as well as manuka honey, which is great for softening and healing the skin. This also has a lavender fragrance, which I’ve been finding very relaxing and soothing when going to bed.
I’ve been using this at nighttime after cleansing and applying my Rosehip Oil and my skin has since been feeling particularly hydrated. It’s perfect to use in the morning also if you’d like.
Have you tried any of these Trilogy products before? Which one is your favourite? Let me know! 🙂
