The Low Down on Pippa.ie Launch!

Pippa.ie was officially launched last night in House Dublin. It was the perfect venue for my night.
Initially we intended to invite about 60-80 people, but with the response and interest we ended up with over 150 people attending last night.
I was so happy with the turnout and support people showed. I felt very grateful. When I got up to give a little speech about my site and to thank people I actually felt a little emotional. I don’t know why! Probably because we’ve worked so hard the past few weeks on making last night happen mixed with nerves and tiredness.

Lots of friends, family, colleagues, bloggers , media and journalists attended.
It was a great night , guests were greeted by pink champagne cocktails. In the middle of the room we had an amazing sweetie station set up. I had used the Sweet Treat Company at our wedding and my baby shower so i couldn’t have an event without them either. It looks amazing and it’s a real taking point, people loved it. I love how Clionadh personalises everything with my name and little sayings.

We also had amazing goodie bags for our guests, bright pink ones to be exact! courtesy of Barry’s packaging. In the bags we had ‘Tough Stuff’ exfoliator by Cocoa brown, ingrown hair pads by Waxperts, Lindt Lindor chocolates, Pharmaton tablets, Cha cha tint by Benefit. People also took home the sweeties from the sweet station!

My dress is from the Ivory Closet, I loved it. The designer is Clover Canyon. They have a few different prints and styles. I saw my pal Vogue Williams wearing a different style and colour recently and thought it was beautiful on her. If you haven’t checked out the ivory closet you’re missing out!! Designer dresses that you can hire for any occasion- perfect!

My shoes are Louboutin , I adore these. They were a gift from my hubby for our first wedding anniversary (yes! I like his take on the paper tradition too!!)
I hadn’t worn them in over a year, not ideal when pregnant, Unless you’re Victoria Beckham! They’re so high.

Peter Mark did my hair, I’m still getting used to the shorter style, I like it though, it’s fresh and a nice change.

My Make Up was done by my pal Kim O’Sullivan at Preen.

For those of you that weren’t there but that follow my website and blogs i want to THANK YOU too! I hope you’ll continue to enjoy it and share your opinions with me.

Much love from a worn out Mum!
