Star Picks from GOSH

main image

Hi Ladies,

I hope you’re all having a nice week so far. It’s lovely and sunny here in Dublin at the moment so I’m happy out!

Recently GOSH Cosmetics sent me some of their newest products from their make up range. I tested them out and really liked them so I picked out some of my favourites to review and fill you in on.

Do you follow me on Snapchat? I’m a little obsessed with it. Anyway, I’ve started what I call ‘#TryItOutTuesday’ – this is where I show you new products I’ve been using or things I’m just testing out for the first time myself.

It’s great fun and my Snapchat followers seem to love it too. If you aren’t following me yet and you’d like to my username is pippa.oconnor. This morning I was sharing lots of the GOSH products and showing how to apply the illuminating highlighter, which is simple by the way!

First up though is the Primer Plus Illuminating Skin Perfector – €13

I’m really loving this primer. It’s so soft and silky to touch. It creates a visibly even skin tone, reduces imperfections and fine lines (woohoo!) and smoothens open pores.

I found it worked really well at keeping my foundation in place. I reckon I use less foundation too when I use a good primer.

Even if you don’t want to wear foundation this alone will give you a lovely looking skin tone and natural healthy glow.

#FoundationDrops – €16.50

IMG_7245

When I first looked at this foundation I thought it would be very watery or oily because of its texture. It’s actually formulated without water. It’s light to touch and just a few drops provide a lovely medium coverage. It blends easily (I just used my fingertips to apply). I really liked the natural finish. As you can see from the pic below, you can still see the freckles on my skin. You could build it to add more coverage but I like skin to look like skin. I think anyone with normal to dry skin will love this. If you have oily skin or tend to go oily throughout the day I would just apply a small amount of loose translucent powder to your T-zone.

Velvet Touch Lipsticks – €10.99

I absolutely loved the colour payoff of these lipsticks – with one layer you have an intense colour. They’re matte without being drying (hate that)

These are my 3 favourite shades from the collection.

Kohl Eye Liner – €7.99

If you’re looking for eyeliner that’ll last, you’ll like these.

I tried the black. I don’t usually wear black liner but when I do I want it to be intense, soft and smudge proof. This does all of the above.

Lumi Drops – €10

IMG_7249

Last but not least I tried the Lumi drops (as mentioned above you can see me testing it on my Snapchat). I love love love these. Well I’m mad about highlighters in general. We all look better with a touch of glow wouldn’t you agree?

IMG_7241

These come in 3 beautiful shades – Vanilla, Peach and Bronze. One is as pretty as the next.

After my Primer Plus and #FoundationDrops I applied a small drop of the Vanilla to my ring finger and gently patted it on to the highest part of my cheek bone.

It’s so lovely on the skin and catches the light beautifully. (See pic)

The bronze would be fab mixed with some body moisturiser and applied to your collars or shins.

GOSH Copenhagen is available in all leading pharmacies.

What do you reckon? See anything you like? Join the chat on my Facebook as usual, I love to hear from you.

Much love
