Hi ladies,

Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend?

Seeing as September has officially come to a close (where is the time going?!), I’ve rounded up some of my beauty favourites from the month just gone. I’ve picked the top 6 products I’ve been loving and reaching for daily.

Hope you find this helpful 🙂

Brooke & Shoals Lemon Leaves, Grapefruit & Green Tea Eau de Toilette – €65 (Buy here)

Brooke & Shoals is an Irish brand well known for their beautiful candles. More recently founder Alison Banton introduced perfumes into her collection. She kindly gifted them to me to try out.

On my recent holiday to France I brought the Lemon Leaves, Grapefruit & Green Tea Eau De Toilette with me. It comes in a beautiful 50ml glass bottle. After my first wear I really did fall in love with it. This scent is described as fresh and invigorating and that’s exactly what it is. I love this first thing in the morning as its citrusy, fresh and distinctive without being over powering. It lasts all day too. I’m looking forward to trying Orange Flower, Amber & Vetiver next,  I’ve had a little sniff and it smells quite seductive – I think I’ll like it for Autumn/Winter evenings. I’ll keep you posted. www.brookeandshoals.ie

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation – €41 (Buy here)

Last month I bought NARS Sheer Glow foundation after a couple of my favourite make up artists had used it on me and I thought it was really good. (Thanks Debbie & Paula!)

I went for shade ‘Stromboli’ which is probably a shade I’d use more at night time or if I’m tanned. I absolutely love the finish to this foundation, it’s flawless looking on the skin and gives me the perfect amount of coverage. I personally don’t like lots of coverage but if you like more this is easily buildable to give the desired amount. The lasting power of this foundation is just superb! Although I use and try lots of different brands and types of foundations, I definitely won’t be without this one from now!

the balm

theBalm Pickup lipliner – €17 (Buy here)

My go-to lipliners of choice lately have been theBalm’s Pickup liners. I’ve been particularly loving the shade ‘I Really Dig You’. This is a gorgeous brownish-nude ‘your lips but better ‘ shade that I’ve found works well with a lot of my fave lippies.

When it comes to lipliners, I always think they should be longlasting, smooth and to not bleed and the Pickup liner ticks all those boxes for me. They’re really pigmented so a little does goes a long way – sometimes I just fill in my entire lips with it. It’s definitely a product worth having in your make up bag ladies!

body blur

Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish – €37.50 (Buy here)

I’ve mentioned this star product a couple of times now but seeing as I used this a lot in September – especially on my holidays I thought it’s only right to mention it again. This is simply a must for anyone wanting flawless glowy skin. I don’t tan nor do I want to – I have pale skin with plenty of freckles… But I love a bit of a glow, especially if I have my legs out.

This instant tinted lotion glides onto the skin covering any imperfections leaving skin tanned looking (never orange!) with the perfect amount of dewyness. I just adore it! I use it all over my body too if I’m going out at night. I’ll apply it to my arms, chest or back – wherever skin is showing basically.

ren

REN Flash Hydro-Boost Instant Plumping Emulsion – €44.95 (Buy here)

I was introduced to this product at the start of the month and I’m still really liking it. I’m a big fan of products that leave my skin feeling hydrated and plumper.I’ve noticed my complexion looking a lot healthier and brighter recently too.

It’s very interesting how it works – you apply the product to a clean, dry face and massage it in. Then when you splash water onto your face, it instantly turns into a really thick, hydrating serum. And within 10 minutes or so, it’s fully absorbed into your skin. You can use this morning and night – I like to apply my moisturiser afterwards for extra hydration.

Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet – €32 (Buy here)

If you follow me on Snapchat (pippa.oconnor), you would have seen me chat about the Armani Lip Magnet press samples I received a few weeks ago. Well after giving them a go – I can genuinely say I am obsessed.

These are liquid that dry to a matte texture on the lips. My favourite part about them is that they are non-sticky and non-drying on the lips – something I’ve found a lot of other liquid lipsticks are guilty of. My fave shade has to be ‘301’, which is a gorgeous vibrant and bright red shade.

Please note, Pippa may receive commission on sales via the Vita Liberata, REN & theBalm links above.
