*Review* Benefit Boutique Dublin

main image

Recently I visited the brand new Benefit Boutique Dublin on South William Street. I’d been to their opening in October but this time I went for a morning of pampering. This beautiful old Georgian building has been restored into a beauty wonderland. It’s like walking into a dolls house, it’s got a quirky vintage sense of style with pretty canderlers and pink everything! It’s a big bright beautiful looking space downstairs.
It’s a massive 3 story building – benefit hq is situated upstairs. This is where all the fabulous benebabes will be trained from now on.

It’s a one stop shop for all your beauty needs. The boutique includes a blow dry bar, a brow bar, a nail bar, private waxing rooms, a spray tanning room (using one of my fave spray tans, Vita Liberata) and of course they provide their usual make up services here too.

I was greeted by their very friendly manager Astrid Davy. I was then introduced to Jenny who showed me a seat at the nail bar. I decided to have a ‘Vinylux 7 day signature manicure’ The vinylux polish is super, it’s not a gel polish, it’s just very long lasting. It goes on exactly the same as normal polish. It dries really quickly too. I went for a deep berry colour. You can actually buy the polishes in Benefit too for €11.95.

Next I headed to the blow dry bar, here I met Michelle. I love this area, there are pictures on the wall of various hairstyles to help inspire you when choosing your look.
I just wanted a full blow dry with some body so that’s exactly what Michelle did.

After my relaxing hair experience I went upstairs to the private waxing room, aptly named ‘Strip joint’! Izabela looked after my waxing, she was really bubbly and friendly so if you’re at all nervous or shy about being waxed Izabela will certainly put you at ease. We had a great chat while she worked away and before I knew it she had finished. It was so quick and as painless as waxing can be!

Last but not least I had my make up applied, manager Astrid applied my make up. I just wanted something very natural for the day time so Astrid went for a very pretty fresh look. She used some of my favourite Benefit products, Oxegen wow foundation, Bella Bamba blusher, and of course They’re Real mascara. I love this mascara, no woman should be without it. I was delighted with my “make upper”.

The boutique offers a variety of packages to suit everyone. The prices are really fantastic, my favourite offer is ‘Tonight’s the Night’ with this package you get a blow
out, a vinylux mani and a make upper! All for only €42!

While I was in the boutique I noticed girls and older women of all ages getting their make up done or their brows preened. That’s what I love about Benefit, It’s a very warm and welcoming environment, it’s appealing to all ages.

So if you’d love a treat for a big night out then the Benefit boutique is definitely the place to go, everything you need under one roof. What’s not to love!

I’m looking forward to my next visit already.

Love Pippa x
