Neon: The New ‘It’ Colour Trend for 2019

Neon is having a moment and for all the right reasons. Move over millennial pink, it’s all about the bright and bold neons this year. But don’t panic, to rock this new colour trend you don’t have to look like a human highlighter – it’s actually quite wearable for day-to-night wear, believe it or not.

From bright greens to yellows and pinks, there’s plenty of colours to choose from under the neon umbrella. Our favourite way is to simply add a pop of neon with one piece whether it’s a top, skirt or shoes and keep the rest of your outfit super simple.

We especially love the look of the high neck neon knit under the check blazer and blue jeans in the image above. It’s current and chic, while still be super wearable. We’re definitely going to be recreating this look, that’s for sure.

So is neon the trend for you? It’s definitely not going to be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s one we’re going to give a go anyway.
