My visit to the new Urban Decay counter at The Loop, Dublin Airport

Urban Decay at The Loop in Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport opened just last month, and they invited me out to visit their new counter and to take a look at some of their best sellers.

I’m a big fan of the brand anyway (aren’t we all) so I was delighted to go and meet the Urban Decay team.

Firstly the lovely Amy talked me through lots of products.

I’m very familiar with the Naked Skin concealer, I use it all the time. I really love it, it’s so light weight with excellent coverage. Even under the eyes it doesn’t cake and crease emphasising lines like most do. Whenever I try a different brand of concealer I always go back to Urban Decay.

So I was excited to try the Naked Skin weightless foundation. Amy told me you could have a light coverage but build it easily depending on your preference.

She then showed me their palettes, most of which I have and love.

There was a single eyeshadow pot that really caught my eye called Moon Dust. They come in a variety of colours and have the perfect amount of sparkle.

After I was shown around by Amy, the fabulous Luke offered to try some of the products on me, he gave me a fabulous little mini make over 😉

Luke used the foundation, which felt just as soft, silky and weightless as the concealer. I’d highly recommend it and it comes in a huge selection of shades, which is excellent too.

Other products he used, which I loved were:

– Perversions Mascara, I’ve bought this lots of times before. It’s a fantastic lengthening mascara.

– Sheer Revolution lipstick in ‘Tilt’, which is a fabulous orange shade. I love wearing this when I’ve little on the eyes.

– The All Nighter Setting Spray, which you spray over your make up to keep it set in place for long lasting wear. This one is very good and definitely works a treat.

Luke and the team at Urban Decay in T2 offer make up applications without bookings, so if you’re passing you should stop by say hi, and get your make up done too. They’re a very warm and lovely bunch 😉

Prices at The Loop in Dublin airport are at least 15% less than downtown prices so it’s definitely worth purchasing your make up products here. Urban Decay is now available in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at The Loop in Dublin Airport.
