My Make Up look by Kim O’Sullivan
“For Pippa’s look I took inspiration from spring 2014 fashion week. The orange lip which is back with a vengeance. I used Tom ford wild orchid. The beauty about this lippy is it’s long lasting, it doesn’t bleed and you won’t need to touch it up.
Huge emphasis was given to the skin to achieve a beautiful iridescence without being too shiny. To recreate Pippa’s glowing complexion I used my secret weapon and a must have in every girls make up bag .. Laura mercier loose powder in “stardust”
I had prepped the skin with a thick layer of Mac strobe cream to give it immediate glow.. I then used Armani luminous silk foundation #6.5.. I added a pop of colour to the apples of the cheeks, using Mac perfectly poised . It’s the perfect colour to compliment the bright orange lip as it’s not too strong. It gives a soft wash of colour. This fab product added a stunning sheen to Pippa’s skin .
I kept the eyes really simple with the classic ” naked winged eye”. The only colour I used in the cease was a Mac loose pigment called “museum bronze”.. a subtle under stated sparkle runs through this amazing colour . As the lips are our statement feature it is important to keep the eyes soft and classic. We created a soft flicked Line using Lancôme art liner .. I adore this liner as it’s so user friendly . The solid tip allows the product to Glide easily along the lash line.
To accentuate the eyes and really make them pop we went for a bold brow. I used Laura mercier brow gel in “soft” to create a beautifuly sculpted manicured brow.
To finish it all off i added lashings of mascara. Armani eyes to kill is my fav ..and don’t forget the bottom lashes! ”
