My Everyday Spring Look featuring Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara

Hi girls,
Hope you’re all having a good day?
Today I’m working with Rimmel to talk to you all about the new Volume Shake mascara. This is the first ever mascara to feature a patented shaker system, which essentially makes it last way longer than any other mascara. Intrigued? I was too! 😉
I had never seen anything like this on the market before so was super excited to give this a go and see if it actually works. I constantly go through mascaras every few weeks as they dry out and become so clumpy that I can’t even use them any more.
What initially really interested me at first was that that the ‘best before’ after opening is 12 months. That is a long time when you think about it. Most mascaras I own would say 6 months max!
The shaker system in Rimmel’s Volume Shake refreshes the formula of the mascara when it’s needed. The formula stays fresh and clump free – how amazing?!
Mascara has to be one of my key everyday make up products. Whether I’m having a casual day or going all out glam, I just have to wear mascara. It opens up the eyes and I just feel more like myself. In the picture above, I’m wearing the Volume Shake mascara and I think it’s quite clear how much it has volumised my lashes. This is the kind of make up I’d wear most days. It’s quite simple and natural: nude lippie, a pop of blush, two coats of mascara and I’m ready to take on the day.
I find this lives up to its ‘clump free’ promise. It really separates and defines the lashes, while still adding that bit of volume, which I adore. The brush is quite easy to use, it gets into the corners and doesn’t make a mess when applying either (hallelujah!).
And for €10.95, it’s a steal. I will keep you updated as to how I get on with the shaker system over the next few months but it’s looking good so far, I think this may be my new game-changing mascara!
Have you tried this yet? Let me know what you think.
