My Christmas Party Beauty Essentials

main image

Hi everyone,

Today on pippa.ie, I’m working with Sally Hansen, Rimmel and Bourjois to share some of my favourite Christmas party beauty essentials with you. If you’ve been following me on pippa.ie, Snapchat, Instagram or Facebook over the past year, you would have seen me chat about these products.

Christmas Party season is the time to really have some fun with your make up looks – the sparklier and smokier the better I say! So today I’ve put together an edit of some of my absolute must-haves that will see you right through party season and beyond. Promise. 😉

First up is Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Spray. This is one of those iconic cult beauty products every lady should own. It’s essentially leg make up and is amazing for covering up bruises, veins and other imperfections. Not only do I like to apply this on my legs, it also works perfectly on the arms, shoulders and chest area. It gives you a gorgeous glowy tan in an instant, which is ideal for any last minute events, or when you’re too lazy to do tan the night before.

Bourjois City Radiance Foundation has quickly become one of my top foundations. This is ideal on days when you don’t want to have a bare face and would like a bit of coverage and glow. It has light to buildable coverage and it also gives an instant fresh-looking glow to your face, which is what we all want, isn’t it?

You know when you’re asked do you have false eyelashes on when you actually don’t, you’ve found a good mascara. Mascara is without a doubt one of my key everyday make up products – even on casual days when I’m not in a full face of make up, I like to wear it as it really opens up the eyes. Bourjois Volume Reveal has definitely become my mascara of choice over the past year.

Between its packaging, wand and application, Bourjois Volume Reveal ticks all the boxes for me. I find it makes my lashes look really long and fluttery! It also has a snazzy built-in mirror, which basically makes it so much easier to coat every single lash flawlessly and evenly without that dreaded clumpy look. I’m always on the go so I particularly love this feature.

There’s no time more fitting than Christmas to wear a bold lip colour, wouldn’t you agree? I love the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick range – I especially love this red shade ‘02 Frambourjoise . It’s classic, glam and will jazz up any outfit. The great thing about these lippies is that they don’t budge. Although it has a matte finish, it’s not drying and still feels very light and velvety on the lips.

I’ve recently started trying the Kate Moss Sculpting and Highlighting Kit by Rimmel. Firstly how fab is the packaging? This has your basic shades for sculpting and highlighting to perfection.

Aside from the Pippa Palette (well, obviously 😉 ), an eyeshadow palette is a staple – I really love the shades in this ‘Bourjois Le Smoky’ one. How stunning is this? The mirror that you can twist is also super handy. These are all perfect nighttime shades that would blend so well together.

Hope you like my Christmas Party beauty picks. All of these products are available in pharmacies nationwide.

Have you tried any of them before?
