Mum & Toddler Food Diary

Hi Everyone!
I haven’t done one of my foodie posts on what I ate in ages.
As normal as they are people seem to like them. I suppose that’s because it’s all very basic, everyday meals that anyone can do.
I love to cook but don’t really spend as much time doing it as I used to.
Most days it’s all about putting things together that are quick to prepare.
Today I was working from home. It was just Ollie and I (so in other words not much work was done!!)
We spent most of the day outside on his swing and splashing water at his sand and water table.
The reason I don’t do more of these posts is because I forget to take the pics.. But today I made the effort to remember.
This is what Ollie and I both had today….
I hope you like this post and I promise to do more of them if you’d like to see more of them.
Much love

BREAKFAST.
Ollie had one scoop of Flahavans porridge.
I mix some cow & gate fruit pouch into it to sweeten it. He loves it when I do that and eats it all.
I had some granola with yogurt and strawberries.
LUNCH.
I had a small white bap (I wouldn’t normally have white bread, I’d opt for brown, but that’s all I had)
On it I had ham, coleslaw, lettuce. With some couscous on the side.
Ollie had some of yesterday’s leftovers which was baby potatoes , baked salmon and some ham. (I kept the good ham for him!)
SNACKS & DRINKS.
I love adding mint, lemon and strawberry to my water. If I’m at home I’ll always do this , I drink so much when I remember to do like this too. You could add whatever you like, cucumber , orange , or just lemon or mint. It’s much more interesting like this. I have at least 2 litres a day. I can’t stress enough how important I think water is for you and for your skin.
I had 2 cups of tea too.
Ollie only drinks water apart from his 2 bottles of milk a day – he has Super Milk. 1 in the morning and 1 at bedtime.
Ollie is always looking for snacks throughout the day.. This is what he had today.
I had some carrot dipped in houmous.
DINNER.
I had spinach and ricotta tortellini. I love having these in the fridge as they are the handiest meal to prepare. I just mixed in some cream and pepper.
Ollie had the same.
He loves this and devours his before I even sit down with my own!
I had some lettuce, sun dried tomatoes and pinenuts with mine too.
Those of you that know me know I have a serious sweet tooth.
I always have chocolate.
I didn’t have much chocolate left this evening so I had half a flapjack too! Sugar overload!!
