May Favourites!

Hey everyone!
I’m back with ‘May Favourites’ – I’ve had lots of products I’m really loving at the moment so it’s hard to pick just a few… But here they are!
**May Glossybox**
I was excited to get my glossybox this month as I’d heard it was going to be a special one.. And it definitely was!
Glossybox teamed up with Superdrug this month to celebrate their 50th Birthday!
Out of all the gorgeous beauty treats this month my 2 favourites were ..
-‘Garnier BB Cream’ this is so perfect for summer or those with little time to spare who just want something quick to apply. I’ve been using this all week, mainly on it’s own, and I love it. It really perfects the skin in 1 quick application , it gives a good tint to your skin, but it’s not a heavy coverage. It felt hydrated and looked glowy too!
It contains SPF 15 but I recommend wearing your moisturiser with an SPF of at least 30 under it.
-Scholl ‘Velvet smooth foot night mask’
I don’t think I’d ever of bought this ordinarily. I just wouldn’t have thought of it.. So I’m so glad I got it in Glossybox .. My poor feet wouldn’t usually be on top of my list when it comes to maintaining myself.. They’re bashed from all the shoes I’ve squeezed them into over the years so they defo needed some tlc!
I’ve used it for the past 3 days and I absolutely love it.
Before bed I applied the mask all over my feet (I put socks over them then! A Very sexy look as you can imagine. I’m sure Brian loves this look!!) 🙂
The next morning my feet have felt noticeably smoother and softer.
I’m delighted with it, I’ll definitely keep using it now that we’re headed for summer months!
*** Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil ***
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you might remember me talking about this face oil.
Well whenever I get my make up done by Paula Callan, or Derrick Carberry they always use this oil as a base for my foundation – which I’d never think of doing!
I just wouldn’t have thought an oil under your foundation would work.. But it’s fantastic!
Now my skin it’s oily- it’s normal/combinational I suppose , so I don’t know if this would be ideal to use as a make up base for someone with oily skin.
I eventually got a bottle of it for myself and I’m using it all the time now. I only apply 2 little drops to my face if I’m applying foundation afterwards. It gives a beautiful smooth and dewy look to your skin.. And really hydrates it!
I’m also using it every couple of nights on my face before I go to bed. It smells devine.. If something smells amazing I usually always love it! I just really love luxury skin care products like this. I know they’re a little more expensive but they’re worth it. I’d rather spend money on creams and oils than make up actually.
So if you fancy giving your face a treat you won’t be disappointed by this one! 😉
It’s €39.95 available from Boots or Department Stores.
*** John Frieda Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir ***
My last favourite for this month is this hair oil by John Frieda.
It’s quite like other more expensive hair oils I’ve used but I find it just as good actually.
I apply 1 pump of this to damp hair before blow drying. My hair is fine but I’ve loads of it (typical Irish hair) so it can be frizzy if I don’t use good products in it. So this had definitely done the job. It leaves my hair really smooth and frizz free!
It costs €13.99 available in Boots.
Do you use any of my May Favourites?
Much love
