Butter London lippy tinted balm ‘Apricot Sunray’
I just discovered this lippy a few weeks ago. I included it in my recent make up look that I posted but here it is again anyway! I love it that much 😉
This is more of a balm than a lipstick, it feels so soft and moisturising on your lips that it’s not uncomfortable to wear. I don’t know about you but for me some lipsticks feel so tight and chalky I can’t wait to rub it off. That’s why I like this one so much, it feels good on and this is a perfect shade for spring summer. Plus the name is pretty too .. ‘Apricot Sunray’ !!
Available from Avoca or online.
Buff HD foundation & Sheer glow lotion.
I started using Buff only this year.
This high definition foundation has won me over. It’s light weight, easy to apply and gives excellent coverage considering it’s not a heavy liquid.
I started out using shade ‘C35’ it’s quite dark, but ideal for when I have false tan on. I’ve since got the lighter shade ‘C25’ , which it’s perfect for the daytime for me.
I use Buff sheer glow liquid under it, giving your skin a slight pink shimmer. It makes such a difference when I use both products, it definitely makes skin look brighter and fresher. I personally love dewy looking skin. If you do too you’ll love this product.
Foundation costs €30. Sheer glow €32.
Essie nail polish in ‘Foot loose’
During the week I went to ‘The Bar’ (part of the LA group on Chatham street)
In 45 mins I had my hair styled, make up applied and nails painted. Such a good service, I love being able to get everything done under the one roof. That combo costs €40.
The polish I had applied was such a pretty purple colour, I love all the Essie polishes, this one is called ‘footloose’ – to have your nails filed & painted alone cost €10. It’s lasting much longer than when I paint my nails anyway. I mustn’t take enough time because they always chip nearly right away!!!
Rimmel Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector
Much to my delight, there’s a newer ‘Sun Shimmer’ product on the scene these days in the form of Rimmel’s Instant Tan ‘BB Skin Perfector’ and we’re definitely impressed. This new formula offers so many benefits including a creamier finish, hydrating the skin, 24-hour lasting power and a smoother even looking appearance. It blends seamlessly into the skin and is perfect for adding a healthy bronzed glow to your skin. As my BGF (best gay friend) says “Always be bronzed Pipe-a.. Never orange”
Cocoa Brown ‘Tough Stuff’
Don’t you hate when you have stubborn tan patches left on your skin days later?!
I seem to be applying tan all the time these days, I’m so pasty otherwise!
This stuff is perfect for shifting old tan quickly.
It’s the best body scrub I’ve used. You’ll find Cocoa Brown everywhere these days, most good pharmacies and Penneys. It cost €7.99
