The magic of Christmas from An Post

Hi Everyone,

I love this time of year when Christmas adverts are shown on the TV.

When I watched this beautiful advert by An Post it really struck a chord with me.

It was heartwarming to see the excitement between the two young children. Sending and receiving their special cards.

It reminded me of when I was a child and my lovely Mum would take such pride and time writing letters and cards.

Especially at Christmas, she would literally send dozens. It was a tradition and one that she passed onto me. Since a very young age I would send cards to my friends at Christmas time. I loved making my list, perfecting my writing skills, then carefully placing my stamp on the envelope.

When I watched this An Post ad it really brought me back and it reminded me of the importance of keeping my tradition going with Ollie.

If I don’t do this with him he’ll never know any different, he’ll presume you just send greetings by text.

Although he’s only 20 months now I think it’s never too young to start.
