How To Layer Like a Pro!

Hi Ladies,
One of my favourite trends is layering, it’s nothing new and something we all do without trying to. When done cleverly, layering can create optical illusions about your body shape.
Layering is practical too, especially at the moment with this crazy weather, I find it more comfortable to wear two thin layers rather than one bulky one anyway.
There are exactly two looks for layered clothes: the right look and the lumpy mattress look.
The point of layering clothing, other than keeping warm, is to display the contrasting items. This is why layering with different colors and cuts works so well together. Layering in a single color creates a blob effect. Showing the sharp contrast between your thin white shirt and the bold blue knit on top really takes full advantage of this technique.
Usually, lighter colours look better when worn under dark colours. A black shirt with a short white knit can appear a little chunky. A white shirt or collar with a short black jumper however appears softer and more in balance.
We’ve chosen 3 key pieces today to show how to layer them like a pro.
Do you like the looks?
As always don’t forget to let us know your thoughts π
Much love
