How to… Get Bright Big Eyes!

Hi Girls,
I’ve learned lots of tips and tricks over the years on how to look fresher and brighter by simply using some beauty products.
This morning for example my alarm woke me at 5.30am. My eyes were in the back of my head and I felt like I’d only been asleep for an hour at most! Hate that feeling!
So here’s a few little cheats that I love and swear by to make your eyes look big and bright! They’re really quick to use too- bonus!
1. Nude Eyeliner
I can not stress how important nude liner is for every woman. You absolutely must buy one if you don’t own one. Our water line is red naturally but when we’re tired it looks even redder.
A nude liner will instantly make your eyes look fresher and bigger. I rarely wear a black liner in my water line, I’d 9 times out of 10 opt for nude, even when I want a smokey eye.
My 2 favourites are:
– Charlotte Tilbury Eye Cheat – it’s the most expensive nude liner I’ve used but it’s the best. It doesn’t budge so you won’t have to re apply.
– A close second favourite is the Stila Kajal liner.
2. Mascara
My first rule here is, replace your mascara every 3 months. Beyond that time they’ll just dry up and you’ll have clumpy looking lashes. Plus they’re unhygienic after 3 months too. So bin them and purchase a fresh one if it’s had its day.
My 2 current favourites are:
– The new Lancome Volume-a-porter , this mascara is seriously fabulous. Apart from its luxurious packaging it ticks all the boxes with its results. My lashes look so long, thick and curly that anytime I wear this people ask me what false lashes am I using.
– A cheaper alternative that is also very good is L’oreal Mega Volume miss Manga.
3. Eye drops
These are like my secret beauty tool. These Optex eye drops are amazing. A drop in each eye and my eyes are left white and sparkling.
4. Brow lifters!!
So on make up days I use my mascara, nude liner and usually this little product.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duality
This is a highlighting pencil that I use on the brow bone. It lifts the brow while subtly highlighting too. This one contains a matte crayon or a shimmer crayon.
Another alternative that is good too is the Benefit High Brow. The difference with this one is its not a dual pencil, the crayon here is matte.
Seems simple doesn’t it? Well it is I promise you. They’re really easy products to use that’ll make a huge difference in seconds!
Much love
