How To: Achieve a Natural Daytime Make Up Look

Hi Ladies,
TGIF I hear ya say!!
I hope you’re all well and looking forward to the weekend?
Today’s post is a really simple make up look. I’m constantly asked about my go-to products for a simple and quick everyday look.
Ain’t nobody got the time for a full-on face every morning, well I don’t anyway and I think lots of you are in the same boat.
Seeing as it’s coming into the summer too (yes, it is!), I like a more natural glowy look for my everyday make up.
I was chatting about my latest fave foundation on Snapchat last week. I had lots of questions about it so that prompted me to do this post.
For the past 3 weeks or so I’ve been using Bourjois’ newest foundation ‘City Radiance’ and I’m honestly in love! The moment I tried it I knew it was one I’d like – it’s light but buildable and gives an instant glow and radiance to your skin. It comes in a handy tube that you just squeeze out, most days I quickly apply it with my finger tips. I use shade ‘Beige 04’ – I even got a second one this week so I could pack it in my hospital bag. It’s handy for travel and packing too as it’s light and slim.
I have normal to combinational skin, mind you at the moment it’s different everyday with this pregnancy- oily, dry or spotty – who knows! So I think this is a good all-rounder for all skin types. If you are oily I would suggest just powdering your T-Zone after you apply your foundation.
I used a small amount of my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder under my eyes and around my nose.
From the Pippa Palette I used only one shade on my eyes ‘Tobi’ – all over the eyelid and blended into the crease.
I used ‘Amour’ to contour and ‘Pipsy’ for blush and then a quick sweep of ‘Lulu’ on my cheekbones and down my nose.
For lippy I used Urban Decay ‘Alice’ – I love a nude lipstick for everyday wear.
For brows I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. On my waterline I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Eye Cheat in ‘Nude’. For mascara I used Ciaté Triple Shot.
These are the Blank Canvas brushes I used for this look.
It really is a simple look everyone can achieve. I hope you’ve found it useful – let me know what you think. Bourjois City Radiance foundation is available in all leading pharmacies and Boots stores.
Much love
