Glow in Sunny Yellow this Summer

main image

When Victoria Beckham stepped out in a canary yellow two-piece a few weeks ago, we fell in love. Partly for the fact she stepped out of her famous comfort zone of always wearing black shades and neutral tones, but also because the colour just made us smile.

Believe it or not, yellow – lemon, canary, mustard, gold – has been one of the main colours that has dominated the spring/summer catwalks this year and it looks as if it’s going to be huge this autumn too. Although it may not reflect Ireland’s mostly gloomy weather, there’s no harm in dressing like sunshine! 😉

We know too well, how tricky this bright colour can be to style. Unless you’re brave enough to rock the head-to-toe look à la Posh Spice, we’re more inclined to subtly add a pop of yellow into an outfit with one piece – a pair of yellow shoes, blazer or breezy blouse are all perfect ways to incorporate this mood-lifting shade into your style.
