Family Photo Shoot with River Island!
Last week I did my first shoot of 2016, which was in collaboration with River Island. If you’re a regular reader of mine you’ll know I shop and wear a lot of River Island so I was really excited to be asked to do this shoot.
What made it even more exciting was that I got to include my 2-year-old son Ollie and my hubby Brian. I’m biased obviously but I think they both did a brilliant job showcasing River Island’s kidswear and menswear.
They say never to work with animals or children but Ollie was a trooper on the day, it was pretty cold outside but after the promise of some chocolate he was more than willing to participate.
We actually had really great fun on the day. It was all very relaxed as it was shot in our home and local village.
I styled the shoot choosing items we’d all wear on an everyday basis.
I absolutely loved my own outfits. Despite being 5 months pregnant everything was very comfortable- even the leather leggings 😉

The wedge runners were a firm favourite of mine. They’re unbelievably comfortable to wear. I loved them with my denim leggings and cosy knit- which is so soft by the way.

I couldn’t choose which my favourite on Ollie was. I was most impressed by how comfortable his outfits seemed. Even the skinny jeans were soft and easy to move in, which if you have little ones in your life you’ll know that’s most important.

Brian loved what I chose for him. He especially loved all the jeans, saying that they were a great fit and felt really good on. I loved the navy zip up top on him.
