Detox DAY 2!

Today I started my second day of my juice detox. I’ll admit I wasn’t as excited today as I was about it yesterday! Haha.
When I woke up I wasn’t ravenous.
I had water followed by my favourite juice,the same as yesterday morning.
1. ENERJUICE – Spinach, Apple, Celery, Cucumber, Lime, pineapple, Avocado.
By midday I did feel hungry and tired. I suppose that’s normal anyway when you have a small active baby!
I did feel like just having a big lunch but I didn’t!!
Once I had my second juice for lunch I was fine again. This one was really tasty.
2. LIQUID LUNCH – Spinach, Cucumber, Avocado, Apple, Pineapple, Spirulina, lime, Wheatgrass
The pineapple made this really sweet and very easy on the pallet.
I was at home from early evening , I wasn’t hungry but just bored of drinking liquid I suppose.
I think the busier you are doing this 3 day detox the better.
I didn’t help that I made some food for Ollie for the freezer ..puréed apple , plums and pears never looked so appealing!!
I then had my 3rd juice of the day at 5pm-
GINGER TONIC – Carrots, Apples, Ginger, Lemon.
Like yesterday i really enjoyed this one. Honestly the only one that isn’t nice is the first one I had yesterday. It was pretty bland and had a strong aftertaste of wheatgrass.
Luckily it wasn’t on the menu today!
I have that to look forward to tomorrow… Yikes!
By 7pm tonight I just wanted a cup of tea and chocolate. I knew I’d really miss the chocolate.
Brian threatened to tell everyone on twitter if I cheated and had some chocolate!! Ha.
It’s a mental challenge really. There’s no point in taking this on if you’re not going to do it properly.
I have one more that I can have today (this one is your “snack” one) I don’t really feel like it now- I feel like I’m full of liquid at the moment. I might have half.
Tomorrow is my last day-
