‘Be Summer Beautiful’

Hello and Happy June!!

I’m so happy it’s a new month.

To me once June hits I feel like it’s officially Summer! Yay! Time to get your pins out if you haven’t already.

We all want to look naturally bronzed, sun kissed and beach ready for the months ahead so I was thinking of something fun I could do to celebrate Summer and help have you looking and feeling even more fabulous 🙂

Every week I’m going to list my Summer Must Haves!

They’ll be things I’ve tried, loved and use.. With lots of different beauty products featuring and maybe some beauty treatments I’ve tried along the way (I tend to get more treatments done in the summer, like waxing , nails , facials etc- if I can sneak away of course!! 😉 )

Today my first Summer Essential is from theBalm , it’s called Balm Shelter and it’s a tinted Moisturizer.

I probably have more more tinted moisturisers than I do foundations.
They’re something I use nearly most days. I love them for no make up days when you still want a bitta somethin somethin 😉

theBalm is a new enough brand to me (remember the Mary Lou Manizer highlighter I was raving about? Well that’s by theBalm too!)

This contains SPF 18 which is super to have too, although I still use a little of my regular moisturiser with any tinted moisturiser because I like to wear a high factor. (I’m using Dermalogica dynamic skin recovery SPF 30 at the moment)

Some tinted moisturisers I’ve tried out recently have been a little orange, just didn’t suit my skin tone or I just didn’t rate them.

I am however very impressed by this one .. I know ill use this now all summer. It comes in a couple of different shades so you’ll get one to suit your skin tone.
I’m using light/medium , that colour is perfect on me. It’s not too light but not at all orange or too dark.
It gives a beautiful light sheen to your skin, covering any small imperfections. My face looks polished and awake when I wear this. I love that I can wear it alone and still feel good.
