All About Our POCO AW19 Photoshoot in London

Hope you’ve all had a nice relaxing Bank Holiday weekend?

Today I wanted to share with you some behind the scenes of our POCO Autumn/Winter 2019 photoshoot that we did last week. This was the first ever time we went overseas to shoot for POCO By Pippa so it was super exciting for myself and the team.

POCO is turning three (yes three years old!) in two weeks so it’s such a nice achievement for us that we could do this.

Myself and my core team made our way to London early in the morning last Monday arrived at our AirBnb in Soho, London. We were so lucky with the apartment – it was absolutely gorgeous and had a terrace and balcony. It was smack bang in the centre of Soho, which was exactly what we had envisioned.

If you haven’t been to Soho – you need to next time you’re in London. It’s a bustling area in the city centre overflowing in atmosphere, bright neon lights and there’s such a great overall buzz as you walk through it. We first started with a nighttime shoot on the Monday evening – Chinatown was a stone’s throw away from our apartment so we got plenty of amazing content there.

The next day, we were blessed with glorious sunshine so started shooting on the roof of our apartment. We then spent the day finding cool streets and store fronts to get some good shots. Our photographer Laoise was amazing at discovering the best gems for backdrops. Niamh styled the outfits, we got some gorgeous looks with the jeans!

We had two London models who were stunning and I got in the photos too. My super talented Irish pal Maurice Flynn did our hair each day and Amanda Bowen did makeup.

It was such a whirlwind two-day shoot but so much fun. We had such a laugh together while still getting so much content and work done so it was very much worth it.
