A week in the life…

main image

I love bank holidays – isn’t it great knowing we still have tomorrow to relax too? Well I hope most of you have the day off anyway!

Last week was hectic but exciting.

I did a photocall in the RDS to launch their Ladies Day that will take place at the Dublin Horse Show on August 6th. I’ll be judging on the day so I’m really looking forward to that – I’ll fill you in on those details again.

I also had a media launch party for the new – we had it in House on Leeson Street, I had my 30th birthday party here too, I just love it there. It’s a super spot.

I wore a dress by Self Portrait from Cari’s Closet in Malahide. I love that label so I was delighted when they recently started to stock it. I wore my Kurt Geiger heels with it. (See here) I bought these a few months ago in Brown Thomas. I really love the pattern and gold heel. They’re incredibly comfortable too.

My lovely pal, the very talented Kim O’Sullivan did my make up for me on the night. I totally forgot to get a close up of the make up but she did a lovely job. I loved the red lippy, thank you Kim!

IMG_7775It wasn’t a late night for me as I was up early for Ireland AM. I was showing looks that I styled from River Island.

For those asking my own outfit was River Island too. I spotted the cream bomber style jacket (see here) while I was getting everything else and I loved it. I wore their  ‘Daisy’ blue jeans with it. These jeans are a lovely relaxed fit. (See here) I turned them up slightly to show off my nude lace ups from Office. These are my perfect nude shoe for summer, I’m getting lots of wear from them. (See here)

We spent yesterday organising and decorating our house. We’re slowing but surely getting there, I’m enjoying it all.

Luckily for me Brian is seriously nifty at putting furniture together, I wouldn’t have a clue where to start. This weekend we’ve been getting my dressing room together, I’m really happy with it so far. My dressing table looks amazing with the lights around it. I’ll show you before and after pictures when it’s properly finished. I’m just waiting for some prints I ordered for the walls.

We managed to get Ollie’s hair cut too yesterday, which I was delighted with. The last time wasn’t so successful. He was happy this time getting a lollipop. He looks so grown up now though, I nearly shed a tear

Last night we met our friends for dinner in town. We went to Fade Street Social – I love the tapas menu there. We ordered some really tasty dishes, the creamy pasta with asparagus is unbelievable, as was the prawn tempura and not forgetting the chips covered in parmesan cheese! (I’m making you hungry now sorry!)

I wore a bright orange top that I bought in Zara recently with my cream Amelie jeans. (See here) These are a gorgeous fit, they’re not see through and they’re more cream than white making them much more flattering than very white jeans.

I teamed them with my blue heels from Cari’s Closet.

The earrings, which you can’t really see, were a birthday gift from Loulerie.

The foundation I wore last night was Maybelline Fit Me. I sometimes wear this at night time, it’s really nice on the skin with good buildable coverage. That’s all I can say about the make up, for now 😉

Also this week a huge poster of me went into 71 Peter Mark hair salons around the country, which was pretty bizarre to see but really lovely. It was funny because my nephew who’s only 1 walked past a salon yesterday with his Dad who didn’t even notice it in the window until Sam said “Pippa!” … How cute!

Happy Sunday to you all – enjoy the rest of your bank holiday.

Much love
