5 Staple Winter Wardrobe Pieces

We’ve come to the end of Winter Wardrobe series.. Recently I was asked “What are you 5 winter must haves?”

So I thought it would be nice to compile a list of what I think are top essentials to add to your wardrobe this season.

Only choosing 5 is tricky but if you chose well you’ll be surprised how far they’ll take you.

Item 1 The Coat

Textured black cocoon coat – Missguided (Buy here)

At this stage we all know how important it is to invest in a good coat. I bought a good black one 2 years ago and haven’t bought a black one since so you will absolutely get value for money when you purchase one.

Item 2 Winter Bag

Cream relaxed shopper bag – Warehouse (Buy here)

We all need a medium-sized everyday bag. The obvious option is black so for a change I’ve chosen a neutral shopper bag. This creamy colour will go with everything- black, grey, navy, burgundy, you name it!

Item 3 The Jeans

I’m sure you all know by now how much of a fan I am of the Amelie jeans!! See my original post on them here.

Well yes, I’m still talking about them, I’ve bought pairs for my friends, mum and sister! I wear mine all the time.. They are just the best fit EVER. Whatever size you are they will pull you in and push up your bum. They’re a skinny mid rise fit but extremely comfortable. If you haven’t invested in these yet believe me, do it!! You’ll thank me.

Item 4 Oversized Scarf

You absolutely need a massive scarf to wrap yourself up in. Tartan never goes out of fashion, I love this one, it’s so Christmassy!! It’s really long too and looks much more expensive then it is.

Item 5 Ankle Boots

Black snake panel block heel ankle boots – River Island (Buy here)

The last essential item I think everyone should have this autumn winter is ankle boots.

Black is a good buy as you’ll literally wear these with jeans, tights, leather trousers, everything really, and for years to come.

I love these ones with the snake print on the back and silver zips. The heel is perfect too. I bought them myself this week, and the knee highs from Tuesday Shoesday!! I’ll tell you about them in another post 😉
