1 Midi Skirt Styled 2 Ways

I’m growing very fond of midi skirts recently. I’ve always admired them on other people but never wore one myself.

You probably remember the recent blue and white one I featured from Chicwish (see that here).

This site is just amazing. I’ve found lots of really unique looking items that I want to share with you. The prices are amazingly good value too for what you get!

I often get asked “How do I style a midi skirt?” or “How can I get different looks out of such a statement skirt?”

Well… here’s how!

I spotted this beautiful skirt on Chicwish and added it to my basket immediately.

I think people assume a skirt like this can only be kept for a really special occasion but I love the idea of dressing it down slightly with a loose shirt.

I absolutely love this look- it’s very chic without being too try-hardy!! 😉

I would wear this to a day time event or lunch with the girls. The blue shirt is quite long but it works well tucked into this. I love it with jeans too, paired with flats for a really laid back look.

To really dress the skirt up I teamed it with an old vest top and a fitted blazer. If you’re going to wear a blazer with a midi skirt like this I suggest keeping it cropped. Or like mine where it’s shorter at the back and slightly longer at the front.
