What I Wore – Racing!
Evening Ladies,
Yesterday I was at Navan Races to judge ladies day.
The theme was a touch of tweed.
It’s always fun having a theme and seeing women’s different twist on things.
So many beautiful ladies turned out in beautiful outfits.
In the end we chose Karla Casey as our best dressed. She was very striking, elegant and I loved her tweed jacket from Jigsaw, the colourful buttons were fun and quirky.
She won a big shopping spree in Navan Town Centre and a year’s membership for the racecourse.
I remembered it being really cold there last year so I wanted to cover up a little to feel warm. I knew I wanted to wear my Zara polo neck (new stock) so I planned my outfit around that really.
I went to Arnotts as I always find great outfits there for occasions. I spotted this black and white tweedy Lauren by Ralph Lauren jacket. The leather collar did it for me, I love leather and I thought it made the jacket really chic. Then I knew I wanted a leather skirt to match. I found a beautiful skirt there too which was so handy, it’s a really soft comfortable leather, the label is ‘Pablo’. It’s a piece you’ll have forever.
My shoes are new stock from Zara.
I went into Parfois in Blanchardstown on Friday (I’m always so last minute with outfits!) I spotted the hat straight away and knew it would work perfectly with the outfit. I just loved the feathers. It was only €27! It’s such an amazing shop, the prices are unbelievable.
I picked up the little black bag there too. How expensive does it look with the chain?! I can’t remember how much that was now but it definitely wasn’t much.
It’s a great shop for getting some Christmas pressies too.
Somebody commented on my Facebook saying they couldn’t find the hat online. I don’t think all of their stock is online so it’s best to go into one of their stores.
The best thing about wearing a hat is I didn’t have to wash my hair!! I just put it in a pony tail- simples!

The lippy is from a beautiful Urban Decay set called Naked on the Run. I was lucky enough to get one before it’s launched on Dec 4th.
The whole set is beautiful actually. I wore the eyeshadows from it yesterday too. It would make a lovely Christmas present. It costs €44 and it will be available in Debenhams and House of Fraser.
The lipgloss is called ‘Sesso’ – it’s rose with a pink shimmer. I wore my MAC ‘dervish’ lip liner with it.
