Winter Home Interior Inspiration

Hi Everyone,

Last week I posted an interiors picture onto my Facebook page and everyone loved it so it inspired me to do a full post on interiors that I really like.

I love decorating my home and like making it inviting and cosy. I like minimal and usually opt for a neutral colour pallet like greys, white, beige. I love textures like faux fur throws in the living room, wool and silk cushion covers in the bedroom.

I’m definitely addicted to candles and have them lighting every night. They’re relaxing, smell amazing and set a beautiful ambiance.

I love lanterns too, these look fabulous at your front door or in your living room. You can get great flame less candles now if you rather. Especially if you have children it’s safer.

Some pretty lighting can change a whole room. Ikea is amazing for fairy lights- these can work wonderfully over a mirror, picture or on your fireplace.

Ikea is great for dressing tables also. That’s where I got mine, along with the stool and mirror. They were under €170 for them all.

Penney’s is super for things like cushions and fairy lights also.

Dunnes home ware is excellent also, the Paul Costello range is stunning. I just love everything he designs. I have lots of his fashion model illustrations, they’re on mugs, candles, cushions and lamps also.

The Caroline Donnelly range is beautiful also, especial if you like some colour in your home. Depending on the time of year, I introduce splashes of colour.
