Tuesday Shoesday: Over-The-Knee Boots You’ll Live In This Season

It’s that time of year again when we swoon over all of the over-the-knee boots. They’ve received the fashion world’s seal of approval for the past few seasons now and it looks like they are still going to be a style staple this AW18.

As much as the over-the-knee boot is incredibly stylish, we know it can be quite an intimidating shoe to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe. So with that in mind, we have two pretty simple tips for when it comes to styling these and we promise you’ll feel so confident and chic.

#1 – If you’re wearing a short skirt with your boots, cover up on top – something like a polo-neck dress/jumper or a chiffon blouse with long sleeves. We would consider showing legs and cleavage at once a major fashion faux pas, so choose one or the other.

#2 – Simple is always best. If you’re wearing heeled over-the-knee boots and tight leathers or jeans, it’s best to keep the rest of the outfit simple and let the boots speak for themselves. Styling them with a light knit and little blazer or jacket is perfect
