Tuesday Shoesday

“Keep your standards, head, and high heels high.”

Now that is a mantra worth living by, don’t you agree? It’s no question that a lot of us share a love for shoes just like that of Sex & The City’s Carrie Bradshaw. Ever walk past a shop window and  find yourself gazing at your “dream shoes” in utter unashamed adoration? We’ve all been there! This week’s ‘Tuesday Shoesday’ has been solely dedicated to some gorgeous heels; the pointed court type, mainly.

#1: These classic leather pointed courts in a blue, black and white striped pattern from Office are beautiful. In fact, they’re almost exact lookalikes of the Christian Louboutin version that Cheryl Cole and Beyoncé have been sporting in orange recently. Office are selling this shoe in pink and yellow as well. Do you love these as much as we do?

#2: Monochrome, as we’ve talked about in our ‘Trend Alert’ post, is going to be huge this Spring/Summer. These wedge court heels from ZARA are the perfect way to incorporate the trend into your look. These 60s inspired shoes would be perfect for office wear and also for a night out.

#3: Penneys have really got it right with their new collection, and we are very impressed with these baby pink ankle strap heels. The pastel colour means they’re bang on trend and are make them ideal shoe for summer weather, or at least helping to add a bit of sunshine to your outfit wardrobe!

#4: These turquoise patent leather pigalle court heels by Christian Louboutin made its way to the top of our wish list as soon as we laid eyes on them.  The colour, the style, the red soles – could it be anymore of a dream shoe? However, it does come along with a pretty hefty price tag, so we have found a similar, more affordable pair by Ted Baker (see here).

What shoes are your favourite this week?
