The Foundation You Need This Summer!

main image

Seeing as my recent post on the Bourjois City Radiance foundation went down so well with you ladies (see here), I’ve decided to shine the spotlight on it again. If you’ve been following me on Snapchat, you’d know I’ve been using this foundation almost every day since Bourjois sent it to me over a month ago. I’ve even packed one in my hospital bag!

It’s a foundation I’d recommend bringing on holidays this summer as it has SPF 30 so it protects your face from the sun. Most other foundations would only have an SPF of 15 or so, and the fact that this is higher is brilliant for daytime wear I think.

It has light to buildable coverage and it also gives an instant fresh-looking glow to your face, which is what we all want, isn’t it? I think this would be able to survive very humid weather as well hence why I think it’s a total summer must-have.

When you’re away, especially in a hot climate, fuss-free products that are easy and quick to apply are a must. I like to apply my City Radiance with my fingertips and then gently rub the product into my face. So simple and takes less than a minute!

On days when you don’t want to have a bare face and would like a bit of coverage and glow, this is the foundation I’d use. I’m using shade ‘Beige 04’ at the moment but if I were going away I’d probably get a slightly darker shade as well. You can then mix it with your usual colour if you need to match your tan – I do this all the time!

It comes in 6 different shades. I took swatches of three of them on my hand as you can see below.

As well as protecting the face from the sun, Bourjois City Radiance has an anti-pollution screen that reduces the presence of carbon particles on the skin.

Have you tried this foundation yet? Let me know what you think.

Bourjois City Radiance foundation is available in all leading pharmacies and Boots stores.
