If the new Debenhams collection doesn’t scream spring and summer to you, nothing does. With the likes of Matthew Williamson, Julien MacDonald and Henry Holland in tow, Debenhams has a gorgeous new collection to offer for the upcoming warmer months.
Fashion is going to be all about florals and soft pastel shades this spring: Think feminine with light floaty dresses and skirts, floral prints and silky fabrics. A lot of this collection is made up of very soft, blush pinks, which are great for complementing many skin tones. The brilliant thing about wearing pastel shades like mint greens and baby pinks is that they are so versatile and actually look amazing in combination with a huge amount of different colours. Colour block your pastels and florals, and you’re good to go!
It’s also clear that white is going to be a major trend for the upcoming months. Debenhams’ lookbook shows how chic and sophisticated it can be to wear white on white but fear not; if you don’t really want to embrace the ‘all white’ look, why not incorporate it with other key trends? A light white jacket over a floral dress or the addition of some white accessories would be perfect in brightening up any outfit.
And here’s just a few things that will definitely be on the ever-growing wishlist for this spring/summer. Do you have any favourites from this collection?
