‘Summer Essentials’ Maybelline Matte Maker!

It’s time for my second instalment of my “Summer Essentials”

This week I’ve chosen something that I’ve been using quite a bit recently, especially since the warmer weather has kicked in.

It’s Maybelline Matte Maker. This is a mattifying face powder.

I’ve been carrying this in my bag for the past few weeks and I’ve been getting great use from it.

I don’t have oily skin but with busy days and the weather getting humid this has been brilliant for keeping my skin shine free.

I lightly apply this powder over my foundation and it instantly absorbs any excess oil (I use my large Blank Canvas powder brush F16)

Unlike other powders that contain a lot of heavy binders to help control shine this one is very light and soft so it doesn’t leave your skin looking cakey. It does the job while leaving your skin looking perfectly matte and flawless.

It comes in 4 different shades so there’s one for everyone. I’m using classic ivory.

It’s very reasonably priced at €5.99 so it’s worth purchasing for the summer months especially!
