Spring Style Staple: The Floral Dress

Hope you’re all having a nice Monday? Today’s post is all about easing some spring florals into your wardrobe with this fab embroidered dress from Chicwish.

If the infamous Devil Wears Prada line: “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking…” goes through your head every time you see floral fashion come to the forefront at this time of year, you’re not alone. However, I think this gem is far from your predictable spring dress. Wouldn’t you agree?

Firstly it’s black, which adds a cool edge. I also love its high-low hem, which is very on trend at the moment. Seeing as Irish weather is still very gloomy and cold, I styled this dress with my trusty black blazer, my Saturday Night jeans underneath and some over-the-knee boots.

I’ll definitely rock this with bare legs, as it gets warmer. It’s a great day to night dress as well – add some heels and you’ve a gorgeous night out look.
