Sneak Peek of Penneys Spring/Summer ’14 Collection

Penneys have just given us a sneak peek of their new purse-friendly Spring/Summer collection for 2014 and it’s fair to say they hit the nail on the head with this one. Striking fashion forward campaign pictures were unveiled of all the new gems we will soon be able to get our hands on, as well as a quirky video showcasing some of the collection.

The entire range is made up of floaty summer dresses, strappy heels and dainty accessories. Pastel hues of mint greens, powder blues and candyfloss pinks are seen in abundance. It seems we will be spoilt for choice when revamping our wardrobes this year!

From looking at the collection, you can instantly pick out what’s going to be the most sought after. For one, their new necklaces are definitely going to go down a treat. You can see the super chic Zara influence behind a lot of them and these are guaranteed to spruce up any outfit, whether it is a t-shirt and jeans or a dress and heels.

Another must-buy is this stunning cream textured biker jacket with PU quilted sleeves, only priced at approx. €30. This jacket would instantly add that extra bit of sophistication to any look, as well as keeping you warm for the ever so unpredictable Irish climate.

The great thing about this collection is that a lot of the pieces are very flattering on all figures. A good few of the dresses seem to cinch in at the waist and the skirts are quite voluminous, giving you that perfect feminine silhouette.

Keep an eye out for some of these pieces in your local Penneys in the next few weeks because there’s no doubt a few will be snatched up pretty fast. Penneys has proved yet again that it really is the ideal shop for fashionistas on a budget.
