River Island launches RI Active

Hi ladies,

Last Thursday, River Island kindly invited me (Niamh) to join them and some other fab ladies on a little overnight trip to beautiful Monart Spa in Wexford ahead of the launch of their new activewear line ‘RI Active’.

We left Dublin in a v fancy chauffeur-driven car. As soon as we arrived we got ready for a circuits class in the gym. We were kitted out in pieces from RI Active for the workout to really put them to the test and see how we liked them.

I wore a pair of the camouflage print leggings, the black mesh double layer sports bra and a yellow tank top with the ‘Oh My Quad’ slogan – LOVE! 😉

I found the leggings very flattering on – they come up quite high-waisted and suck you in making them ideal for the workout – you didn’t have to keep pulling them up etc. The girls with me were saying the same about theirs as well. I was also really impressed with the sports bra – super supportive and comfy.

After working up a sweat in the gym (and realising how horrifically unfit I am!), we had a gorgeous lunch and then enjoyed a facial in the spa. We had dinner, drinks and plenty of giggles that evening. The whole stay was such an amazing treat from River Island. And what a way to launch RI Active?!

RI Active launched this week in stores and online. There’s actually so much to choose from. My favourite things about the collection are how stylish, trend-driven and not to mention flattering the pieces are.

You often hear people say having nice gym gear can entice and motivate you to work out more, and I have to agree. Who doesn’t want to feel nice in what they wear, wherever you are? There’s really no excuse to not work out in style now that RI Active is here!
