Penneys Haul

Hi Ladies

On Monday I skived off for a couple of hours and went to Dundrum – if you’re following me on Snapchat you’ll already know this!! Username is pippa.oconnor by the way, if you’d like to see further pics, videos and general useless chat! Oh and snaps of Ollie too, usually chatting about animals or planes!

I was there nice and early, before 10am on a Monday is great time to go to shopping if you can. It was quiet and easy to browse around. Which was especially good when going into Penneys. I hadn’t been there in ages so I was delighted to see all their new stock.

They had lots of new Autumn Winter stock throughout the store, loads of items I really liked. Yes, I know it’s only July but believe me, you’ve to get what you love before it’s gone!

I made a few summery purchases too of course and I also got some lovely items for Ollie – I got most of his aged 3-4years as I imagine him wearing them in a couple of months.

Here’s what I got…

*Dark Skinny jeans €17

I had seen lots of people talk about Penneys’ latest jeans collection and I thought they looked great on a few Irish bloggers that I follow so I wanted to try on a pair myself. I did find it tricky to see any smaller sizes but I did find these ones hiding amongst the rails. I’m more of a 10 in jeans but these particular ones have a good stretch in them so the smaller size were good on me. Considering they’re skinny skinny jeans they’re so comfortable. I’m really so impressed by the fit and feel of these for only €17.

*Black Tee €8

I can never have enough basis tops. I wear them a lot as I tend to layer items most days. I love something like this under a really fab blazer. I much rather them loosely fitted too so that’s why I picked up this slightly oversized tee.

*Black fringed Cape €18

I adore the look of this cape. Hopefully I’ll be keeping it up for a few months to come but I’m already looking forward to wearing this. It’ll be perfect over any knit, leather jacket or turtle neck. It comes in a lovely burnt orange colour too. They only had size XL left but it looked perfect on me.

*Zebra print flats €15

Anyone who knows me knows I love a bit of animal print!

So I had to have these. Don’t they look amazing? They’re really comfortable too.

* White top (reduced to €5!)

I’m loving the look of this boho style top, I think it’ll look great under a navy blazer or denim shirt. Or obviously on its own with jeans its a simple but lovely look.

* Check shirt €9

I love shirts with jeans and converse for a casual day off. Tip with buying these shirts, no matter where I buy them I tend to buy a bigger size. Just so they’re not tightly fitted and so they last numerous washes.
