January Favourites

main image

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I realised I haven’t done a monthly ‘favourites’ post in ages.. I’m always testing and swapping products so I should really keep this post going because it’s a great way for me to regularly keep you up to date on the things I’m using or have tried out.

No 7 Beautiful Skin eye make up remover

IMG_5048

This is something I’ve been using for months now, I don’t think I’ve mentioned it before though? I actually bought it without intending to.. I got on one those No7 boots vouchers at the till while I was paying so I just grabbed one of these for the sake of it as it worked out pretty cheap with the voucher. It’s about €11 otherwise.

I’ve used expensive to cheap eye make make up removers over the years and this is hands down my favourite. It’s excellent at removing even the heaviest eye make up or mascara. It’s not too oily or greasy and it’s very gentle on the skin. I highly recommend this. Suitable for all skin types.

Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy Dream’ Eau De Toilette

After a winter of wearing Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir (my fave) I was ready for something different. I’m loving Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs, it has a really fresh and floral scent. I especially love it for day time. It lingers for hours without being over powering.

Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm

IMG_5042

Like most women I have 10 lip balms on the go – one in every handbag and a couple in the car, just incase!!

The one I keep using and feel works the best for dry or cracked lips is this Nuxe little gem.

It really nourishes and hydrates the lips. Definitely my new cult product.

Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm

IMG_5047

I got a beautiful gift set of lots of Elemis products a few months ago (lucky me!)

I hadn’t used any of their products before.

They’re so luxurious and smell devine.

My favourite from the set I’m using is probably this cleansing balm. I massage it all over my skin , avoiding eye area. Then I use a warm damp cloth that came with it to gently wipe the balm off. My skin has never looked brighter or cleaner. It’s really gorgeous and smells incredible. Elemis isn’t cheap but if you really want to treat your skin I think you’ll love this.

Available at select salons nationwide

Fab First Aid Beauty- Facial Radiance Pads

IMG_5045

I got these facial pads in a set with a moisturiser and cleansing gel (which I really like too but keep for travelling as they’re a perfect travel size) -these pads are excellent and I’ve been using them most days.

I use one pad and wipe it all over my face They exfoliate, tone and brighten the face brilliantly. I really love how my skin feels so bright after them without that tight feeling some toners give.

Blank Canvas F03 foundation brush.

IMG_5044

Recently I’ve been reaching for my F03 brush to apply my foundation. This large stipple brush feels so soft and fluffy on the skin. I love that I use a lot less foundation with this brush , it gives a smooth and flawless finish. It’s €13.99 which is super value for a brush that lasts so long. I’ve washed it numerous times now and it’s like brand new!
