Hi All!

Is it just been or was that the longest week ever! ?

I just couldn’t catch up with myself this week. I took too much on with work and meetings (I’m not complaining about being busy mind you!)
But do you ever just feel you need a double ?!

Yesterday I did a shoot for Irish Tatler.
They approached me to be on their June cover which I was delighted to do as I hadn’t done that one before.

The location was the beautiful Powerscourt Estate .. if you’ve never been there before you should definitely go on a nice sunny day and enjoy the stunning views. There’s a beautiful Avoca shop and restaurant there too.

I’d only 5 hours sleep on Thursday night , I went to bed late as my site crashed (Dee at Tendora Media ,she created the site and looks after any techie things for me. She is absolutely incredible. So Thank you for putting up with me and all my late night calls!)
It’s all been sorted now thankfully!

Then Ollie decided to wake up at 5am on Friday morning (for the craic!) My eyes were in the back of my head going to the shoot so I was so happy to be in the hands of such an amazing team.

Barry McCall was the photographer.
Paula Callan -Make up.
Michael Leong-Hair.
Sinead Keenan-Stylist.

The theme given to the shoot was 60’s meets Bridget Bardot meets Kate Moss. (Not that I look like either – in my dreams! But that’s the vibe they wanted!)

Sinead got it spot on with the styling. It’s was 60’s inspired but with a very modern and chic interpretation.
She mixed highstreet and designer beautifully.
A lot of the accessories were from River Island.
The clothes were a mixture of Brown Thomas, Zara, BT2 and a few others.

Michael gave me long clip in extensions for shoot.
It was funny having long hair again. It was great for a change and I really liked it for the shoot but it definitely didn’t make me want permanent extensions . For me I rather my short hair, I just feel fresher looking with it or something. For now anyway I’m happy with it!

Paula is just incredible at make up, she makes it look so easy. She kept it understated – I’d no defined brows for it either which is different for me but it turned out great and it was perfect for our theme.

I’m really excited to see the shoot in the magazine now!
(Behind the scenes pics below)

For now it’s back to normality..

This weekend I’m minding my 2 nephews , Finn who’s 2 and Sam who’s 6 months. So it’s all fun and games here!

Hence this late blog post! 😉

I hope you’ve a lovely long weekend whatever you get up to!

Much love
