This month, Connacht Gold launched a brand new TV ad to promote its Half Fat Butter. Have you seen it yet? 😉 Directed by the very talented Barry McCall, the ad is luxurious and classy with a creative high fashion edge.

This is my first ever TV ad so I was very excited and thrilled to be involved in such an exciting and highly produced campaign. I had a brilliant time on the day shooting it with Barry and the Connacht Gold team – it’s great seeing the end product now and how well it turned out.

The key theme ‘There are some things you don’t expect to find in a tub’ runs throughout, highlighting the fact that Connacht Gold is real butter despite being half the fat and in a tub. We had great fun making this advert and playing on the fact that butter in a tub is unexpected and delicious.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’d know I’ve worked with Connacht Gold a lot on their campaigns in the past and I’m genuinely a big fan of the brand.

As a busy working Mum of two young boys, butter in a tub is both essential and convenient. For me it’s really important to have foods that are healthy, tasty and easy, because I love food and I love butter especially!

But convenience really is key, especially with the hectic lives so many of us live. That is why I especially loved the sub theme of this campaign, the ‘Have it all’ conclusion…. With a busy life, a love for fashion and the taste of butter, a real butter with half the fat allows us have it all and feel fabulous.
