Centra’s 2015 Christmas Range

Recently I launched Centra’s 2015 Christmas range. After trying and tasting some of the range on the day I can confirm it’s absolutely delicious and ideal for everyone in the family, even if you’re not the best cook! 😉 It’s perfect for a basket-shopper like me, as everything is so convenient yet of fantastic quality.

I have two local Centras near me and find them so handy when coming up with easy and nutritious meals for Brian, Ollie and myself! I’m definitely going to be stocking up on their Christmas range this month for the festivities ahead. For me, the key to a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas day is spending quality time with my loved ones. The food in the range is super easy to make and takes very little time, which means a stress-free kitchen and more time with the family – Happy days!

I love the party food range Centra is offering this year, which includes piri piri chicken skewers, breaded chicken drumsticks, mini burgers, BBQ chicken wings and Chinese spring rolls – all priced at €4! They also have smoked salmon for €5, which would be gorgeous served with their stoneground brown soda bread for €1.39. All very easy to prepare for your guests!

Here are some other yummy products you can get from Centra’s Christmas range…

– What’s Christmas morning without Superquinn sausages? Centra has packs of 10 priced at just €4.00. I’ll definitely be getting those!

– And now for starters, Centra king prawns are €4 for a 200g pack. Simply garnish with avocado and lettuce in a glass dish and et voilà, it’s ready in minutes!

– For the main course, there’s Centra’s pre-prepared veg range including spiced cabbage, potato gratin and brussell sprouts from €2.50 all pre-packed, fuss-free and extremely timesaving.

What is Christmas without Turkey? Centra has a turkey crown option this year with bacon, sage and onion stuffing priced €27.00 (ah-mazing!), while Centra’s basted turkey bread joint is just €10. And there is also a fresh premium butcher style unsmoked ham for €5. Is anyone else’s mouth watering as you read this?

– Dessert time – my fave! Centra’s three-tier black forest gateau is only €7, the Chocolate Fudge Yule Log is €3 and the traditional Christmas pudding is €3 (or two for €5.00). What are you going to be having for dessert this Christmas?

Although I won’t be drinking this year, I’ll still be stocking up on some festive fizz for my family and friends! A bottle of Marcella Prosecco is just €10 – what a great price! Centra has also introduced Graham Norton’s Sauvignon Blanc Invivo wine to its stores for €12. I’d definitely say that’s worth checking out – who doesn’t love Graham Norton? Also did you know Centra has the largest selections of craft beers in the country? They include great Irish brands like O’ Hara’s Hop Adventure Series, Bru which is a gluten free lager and Guinness Golden Ale. And for those of you partial to a premium spirit why not try Kettle One Vodka, Tanqueray Dry Gin or Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey.

So I think it’s safe to say Centra has definitely got you covered this Christmas, giving you more quality time to enjoy it with those you love.
