IRISH DAILY STAR, 11-April-2013

IRISH superstar couple Pippa O’Connor and Brian Ormond celebrated the birth of their first baby yesterday, little Ollie.

Proud father Brian (32) said: “Pippa and Ollie are resting and doing great.

“It’s such an incredible time and we are over the moon with our bundle of joy.”

The new arrival was born at 9.43am at Mount Carmel Hospital, weighing 8lbs 5oz.

Stunner Pippa (28) — who is the face of Mothercare — had a relatively quick labour after waking up with contractions at 5am.

“It’s too early — go back to sleep @pipsypie,” the excited dad-to-be tweeted.

Later he returned to the site to tell his 12,000 followers the good news.

“Our family has grown! Ollie Ormond arrived into the world today. So proud of @pipsypie Love you both!,” he wrote.

Famous friends were quick to congratulate the happy couple.

TV3’s Anna Daly — who recently had her second son Euan at Mount Carmel — tweeted: “Absolutely wonderful news guys, welcome baby Ollie x”.

Playboy babe pal Rosanna Davison (28) wrote: “Whoohoooo! Congratulations to you both and welcome Ollie!

Great name!”, while model Nadia Forde (23) added: “Oh my god amazing news! So so happy for u guys! Can’t wait to meet lil Ollie.”

“The biggest love and congrats to you both and your little angel! Adore the name!”

Brian and AR model Pippa wed in June 2011 in a lavish ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton in Wicklow, which was documented in hit RTE show Brian and Pippa Get Married.

Ollie joins the happy family, which includes 12-year-old Chloe, Brian’s daughter from his previous marriage.
