Award Winning Night! & What I Wore!

Last night I attended the Irish Beauty Blog Awards in Dublin.

I was delighted to even be shortlisted in a number of categories.

Pippa.ie is still quite young, it’s only 18 months old so I was over the moon to win ‘Best Fashion Blog’ early in the night.

Shortly after that came the second award for ‘Best Beauty Blog’- as you can imagine I was well and truly thrilled with that so I sat back with my sister and friends and enjoyed a drink.

Then came the final award of the night ‘Best Overall Blog’ – when my name was called for that too I nearly choked. I really didn’t expect that also.

I was so stunned and humbled that my blog had won its first awards. When you put so much into something It’s such a lovely boost to get recognition that I so appreciate.

They were so many other amazing blogs who were nominated and who picked up awards too. Well done to each and everyone.

As I mentioned last night I’m not alone in all that I do. I don’t think anybody or any business can be successful on their own.

Women always say to me “God how do you do it all” I’m by no means Super Woman; I have a lot of help. I think that’s the key, surrounding yourself with good people who help to rise you. They know who they are! Thank you!

After a great night and a delicate head today I’m happy it’s nearly the weekend!

My tan is partly my own 😉 and I used a new one to me last night. It’s called Tantastic, it’s their instant gel tan and I absolutely loved it. I thought the colour was gorgeous and it was quick to apply.
