Autumn/Winter Wardrobe Series: Blanket Scarves

So this is the second installment of our Autumn/Winter Wardrobe series and this week, it’s all about a trend that has been making waves on the catwalks – the blanket scarf.

When it comes to dressing for winter, there are so many ways to keep warm. This season, the bigger the better and a blanket scarf certainly fits that criteria.

Blanket scarves are literally as big as a blanket – you can wrap them around your shoulders for a chic yet cosy look or wrap them nearer to your face to keep snug.

Although they are quite simple, they can be a major fashion statement. With the likes of our fashion faves such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Olivia Palermo sporting this fashion forward trend, it’s clear it’s definitely going to be huge this season.

I particularly love the Topshop cape style very similar to the famous Burberry one Olivia and co have been rocking recently.
