April Favourites! – updated skin care routine!
Hi All!
My ‘April Favourites’ is dedicated to some new skin care products I’m using.
I’ve so many favourite beauty products this month that I want to share with you …I don’t know where to start!
But here goes..
-DERMALOGICA ‘daily microfoliant’
This has been around for a long time. My sister used all of these products and always recommended this exfoliator. I finally got some Dermalogica products myself about 6 weeks ago. I’m so impressed by them all.
I particularly like this this daily microfoliant.. It’s a very effective exfoliator without being too harsh on your skin. I’m using it every few days (although you can definitely use it every day like it says)and my skin really feels the better for it. It’s given it an amazing cleanse and left me with soft glowy skin. I’m still using the Clarisonic about twice a week, (I wrote about it a few months ago) I highly highly recommend it. Its the most expensive one for a reason, it’s the best I think anyway!
-DERMALOGICA eye cream. ‘Multivitamin power firm’
I absolutely love this. It instantly smoothens out any fine lines around the eyes .. It’s a very soft gel like texture, it’s very soothing when you apply it and leaves your eye area very soft to touch. Over the few weeks I’ve noticed definite improvements. I use it around my mouth too to keep any anything from appearing there ! It can all only help!!;-)
–ELIZABETH ARDEN ‘Eight Hour Cream’ ..’nighttime miracle moisturiser’
The word ‘miracle’ did it for me!! I just had to have it. I’m a big fan of Elizabeth Arden anyway. I love their original cult product ‘Eight Hour Cream’ I use that for everything!
This one was new to me though..
On first impressions the texture is sticky like the original eight hour cream. I was thinking how is this going to go onto my skin..But ! It felt amazing , it is thick when you apply it but it soaks it perfectly. The smell is incredible , it contains lavender. I rub it between my fingers to heat it up which really releases the amazing scent. It’s very soothing and relaxing too actually, just what you need to help you nod off.. Any excess product I rub into my elbows or cuticles. My skin has felt so good and soft every morning since. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a great night time moisturiser.
-IMAGE skincare ‘Balancing lip enhancement complex’
If you haven’t heard of Image skincare you’re actually missing out!
This brand was recommended to me before I got married. So for 8 months before my wedding I religiously went for a facial using all of the Image skincare products. The results were amazing. My skin was in the best condition it had ever been in.
I actually really wish I’d kept up using the products myself at home.. I didn’t 🙁 but ! Now I’m bringing them back into my life! Starting with this lip cream. It’s very hydrating.. If your lips are anyway dry this will work wonders. It claims to dramatically enhance the appearance of lip contours, adding up to 40% moisture volume with repeat usage. As I’ve tried and tested this one before I can safely say it does all of the above.
I can’t wait to start using some more in the range.. I’ll keep you posted 😉
